How to Play Piano: Part 2 of 2, lesson #5
In this lesson, I explain different notes, their values, how they work with eachother etc. I also introduce F + as a scale! This is the second half of the video look for the beigning on my channel, I’m really sorry about having to split these up!!! 10 minutes just isn’t enough for a lesson. I applied to become a director so hopefully that goes through. I hope this is useful! Please go check out my website and sign up on my forum. Join the music community! www.howtoplaypiano.ca

“Do you still count beats when you know the melody well?”
Once you know the piece, counting isn’t always necessary. Once you get it down, the sheet music (for me, at least) is just a reminder of what to play. I’ve been playing for five years now, and I don’t always count every note when I pick up a new piece, and almost never a piece that I know well. Really, it’s just whatever works for you
in what lesson did you teach the whole father battle thing ?

Thank you so much for taking the time to teach us. It is greatly appreciated =]. I have learned a lot just from these 5 tutorials and can’t wait to finish all the other ones.
Best piano teacher ever!!!!
Do you still count beats when you know the melody well? I find that counting throws me off. Instead of thinking melody I think 1234. I suppose you have to count if you’re playing a song for the first time, but once you know what the melody sounds like, do you still count as you play it? Cheers
lesson five part 2 passed rght by me lol
